We are pleased to present this masterful Mid Century Modern chair by one of America’s most celebrated designers, Adrian Pearsall. Trained as an architect, as many of his illustrious contemporaries, Adrian went on found Craft Associates. Perhaps the most forward thinking, and adventurous of U.S. based producers. Pearsall and his team created some of the most memorable pieces of atomic age furniture this side of the Atlantic. You’ll find adventurously sculpted and angled tables and chairs that seam far ahead of their time. This 916-CC arm chair draws from Danish influence. Two floating rubber seat cushions rest on a solid sculpted walnut frame. This chair cradles the body. An amazingly comfortable lounge chair. Note how the chair angles just so slightly enabling an ergonomic effect on the spine. The walnut wood frame has an unusually soft feel against the skin.
