Outstanding vintage 1970s Art Deco coffee table. The monumental coffee table is made of Italian travertine. The stone closely resembles marble but has an earthy gray/beige tone. The table top features a triple beveled edge and rounded corners. The unique “V” shaped pedestal features a fluted facade with ridges flanking the center. The side profiles are smooth. It is rare that a piece of furniture is at once luxurious and durable. This coffee table achieves both.
