Vintage 1970s cedar slab coffee table with embedded abalone shell. Substantial solid slab of cedar wood mounted atop a cedar stump. Use as an end table or coffee table. Sturdily constructed with steel brackets to support the table top. The wood’s live edge has been forever preserved by thick coats of resin. Most remarkable is the large abalone shell mounted in the table top. Supremely unique and beautiful. Marrying treasures of two realms of nature, land and sea. Craftsman has etched his initials and date under table top.
