Vintage 1970s burled olive wood dining table by Century furniture company. The expanding oval dining table is a sight to behold with it’s luxurious burl wood top harmoniously balanced on a pedestal base. The hypnotic burled olive wood takes the eye on a ride with its undulating pattern. The stylish, architectural cage pedestal base not only mimics the curve of the top but serves as a sturdy, unobtrusive alternative to typical table bases of the era. (2) leaves allow this table to extend to max length of 88. 25″. No composite or MDF anywhere on this piece. Century used a combination of solid hardwoods and veneers.
