1950s Mid Century Modern arm chair looks to be Danish. Original plaid tweed upholstery has been shampooed and is looking fantastic. No holes or rips. This is a real Eames era charmer. So, so, retro — looks like it could have come off the set of Mad Men. Rare to find an all original piece like this. No maker’s mark, but the quality is second to none. Supports and foam are in great condition with no corrosion or crumbling. Walnut pencil tapered legs are rich hued with no remarkable wear. Architectural profile hints of works by Jens Risom or Adrian Pearsall.
27" Wide x 25.75" Deep x 29.5" High (15" seat height)
All original. Outstanding shape. No wear on the fabric besides three hardly noticeable dark spots on the head rest area (see photos).
