Scandinavian wool Rya rug, measuring 11 feet x 8 feet. The large shag area rug features a symmetrical geometric pattern in earthy tones of green, brown, beige, and white. This combination of natural colors and dynamic pattern create visual interest without being visually distracting. Look at the backing to see the quality of the weave in this high-pile Mid-Century era rug. The collector’s grade Rya is likely Swedish or Danish origin, dating from the 1960s–70s. Only a small tag on back exists, with a type of serial or model number. The design reflects Scandinavian Modernism and an appreciation for natural materials. This rug is the perfect statement piece to anchor your room. The 11 feet x 8 area rug is large enough to compliment your sofa, chairs, and occasional tables.
