This stunning time capsule vintage sofa sleeper was sourced from the son of the original owner who purchased it in Japan in 1971. Not only is the vinyl in excellent original condition, but the mechanics that allow the sofa to convert to a bed work flawlessly. Linear, rolled heated pleats adorn nearly the entire sofa. The ribbed pattern evokes a look that gives the pieces a Hollywood Regency flare while maintaining a classic, mid-century modern style. A truly rare find.
