Description
Telescope Director Chair set of (2). Both chairs are in almost identical, excellent vintage condition. We love the combination of solid beech wood black lacquer hardware and embossed alligator print leather upholstery. The beech has a reddish orange, amber patina that is difficult to appreciate until you see it in person. Designed and manufactured by the Telescope Company of Granville NY.
Each Telescope Director Chair can be folded and collapsed for easy storage or transportation.
The Restoration:
We overlooked some of the ugliest fabric we’ve ever seen because we saws the potential. We’ve been waiting for years to use this heavy duty embossed alligator print black leather because we knew the perfect candidates were right around the corner. That day has come and our in-house upholstress pulled it off beautifully. The solid beech wood frame was cleaned, detailed and oiled.
