Group of four DSC 106 Giancarlo Piretti chair for Castelli stackable chairs. The iconic chairs have all new orange upholstery. The aluminum metal frame frames are original. Our restoration team had to source replacement feet all the way from France! The restoration effort was worthwhile. These handsome chairs were previously owned by the University of Oklahoma. The University’s label along with embossed Castelli logo are present on the chairs. Piretti first designed the DSC 106 in 1965, and its legacy has endured. The stylish, practical chairs also stack. Condition: New upholstery. Some scratches on original frames. Some seats have a crinkling sound when you sit on them because of a protective plastic sheets beneath the fabric. This is not a problem… it’s just an auditory quirk. Some bunching where fabric meets frame.
