Description
Vintage 1950s Heywood Wakefield M154A “dog bone” dining chairs. Constructed of solid birch wood with biomorphic dog biscuit like bowed back rest. This is one of the most iconic chairs of American Mid Century Modern design. Every aspect and angle was considered in the construction of this chair. See how the back legs elegantly flare out from the mid-section to the back. Mimicking the natural curvature of the spine — no wonder why Elle Decor voted this one of the most comfortable dining chairs in the world. A rich orange tone patina gives these chairs and almost teak appearance. This set consists of 5 armless side chairs and one arm chair. Professionally recovered in high-end, retro inspired fabric. We have a matching credenza and dining table (sold separately).
