Handsome set of 6 vintage Danish style dining chairs. Circa 1960s, American made, solid walnut wood frames. This group comes with two captains chairs with arms and four armless side chairs. Seats have been professionally recovered in high quality black vinyl. Curved back rests cradle the body. Angled back legs make this chairs particularly sturdy. Well padded, wide seats adhere to today’s standards for comfort. Considerate design details include the architectural profile, carved half circles where the seats meet the back legs, gentle contoured elbow where back rest meets leg. These small embellishments come together to give these dining chairs notable retro charm.
