Rare set of 8 mid century modern walnut dining chairs. By legendary American designer, Milo Baughman, for Dillingham. Rich dark chocolate patina to the half a century old walnut wood. Beautiful golden hue to the caned backs. All caning is original and still intact. Seats are covered in high quality, easy to maintain original black vinyl. Set consists of 6 armless side chairs and two captain’s chairs with arms. A truly handsome set. Note the wedge shaped profiles the front legs as they reach up to support the arms. Fine details like this are triumphs over the banal. Earmarks of true quality. Matching dining table available (sold separately).
