Danish style daybed sofa with hairpin back rest. Gray tweed upholstery is true to the Mid Century Modern period. You will be the first to enjoy this freshly recovered vintage couch! New high density foam cushion rests on top of a walnut wood platform. Upper bolsters have straps to attach the cushions to the back rest. Tapered pencil legs give a dainty look. Iron hairpin back support is strong and will last many more decades to come. Remove the bolster cushions to form a single size bed. Seat cushion (bed mattress) is 25″ wide x 71″ long without bolsters. Back bar easily lifts out of position to create an unobstructed sleeping area. Ideal for live/work spaces or seating/napping place in an office.
