This is an exceptional bed. Two twin mattresses should be used on this king size bed in order to take full advantage of the adjustable head and foot rests. Each side of the bed can be manipulated independently. Choose to incline or recline your upper body or feet. Your partner can set the position of their side of the bed as well. If you have differing perspectives on sleep comfort, using two twins will allow each of you could have a mattress of your choosing! The bed can be used with a standard king mattress. If using a standard king, both sides of the bed will have to be set to the same position. The platform bed does not require a bed spring. Simply place your mattresses on top of the slats.
The bed comes complete with two nightstands. The nightstands offer ample storage with a column of several drawers. A secret feature is hidden at top. Pull the top ridge to extend a white laminate table top. This additional surface functions like a side table. You can place drinks, snacks, books, charge your devices etc. The nightstands are not attached to the headboard. They are independent units and can be used anywhere in your home.
