Description
This timeless sectional features a low-profile linear silhouette with plenty of classic Mid-Century Modern style. The newer, linen colored fabric looks and feels amazing. Thick, nubby vertical channels of soft material wrap the body and loose cushions. The fabric contrasts perfectly with the old-growth walnut, black bases and leather strap accents. Comfort, functionality and style coalesced without compromise. The black slate table-top can easily be lifted off for safe transport and easy installation. The low backs will also allow this sexy sectional to squeeze into any NYC apartment. The black leather straps and dark walnut demonstrate a bold, yet tastefully approachable concept. The patina on the walnut has added a rich, warm, reddish hue to the tone. Mid-Century American furniture making at its best.
This sectional is made of two independent sofas. One sofa is a three-seater. The second sofa is a two-seater with attached slate table. The sofas afford several arrangements. Use each sofa independently, situated across from one another, aligned straight as one massive couch, or combined into an L-shape. Designed by Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates in the 1960’s. Easily transform the sofa into a cozy and convenient bed for overnight guests. The length can absolutely accommodate. The FMV restoration team fabricated completely new black plinth bases, re-painted and clear-coated to exact same original dimensions and finish.
