We’ve only had this adorable Arne Wahl Iversen for Vinde Mobelfabrik teak planter twice in the past 10 years, and not only is this the most pristine, but it also came with the original (rust free) galvanized metal insert. These Danish planters typically take a beating and suffer from water stains and veneer damage, but not this little gem. Our restoration team performed a relatively minimal rehab that only consisted of some minor scratch mitigation and top to bottom cleaning / detailing. We also ultra-waterproofed the insert with POR-15 and painted it a gloss black. This insert will hold water with no worry of rust for years to come.
This petite Danish modern teak planter features a chest of three drawers on the left and a low slatted magazine shelf under the planter insert. Designed by Arne Wahl Iversen for Vinde Mobelfabrik, stamped Model #36, circa 1960’s. Finished back, allowing it to be placed anywhere as it looks great from all angles.
