Description
The soft and sensuous gold bronze mohair is in absolutely outstanding condition. Rippled waterfall style pleated tailoring is punctuated by the hand carved mahogany base and accents on the arms. One does not have to compromise comfort for style with this Art Deco and Hollywood Regency inspired couch.
The overall color is hard to pin down and looks different from every angle. It can go from gold, to bronze, copper, brownish-tan and even chartreuse. The sofa is vintage, circa 1940s. The material is so perfect for the era and expertly upholstered that it appears to be original but may have been reupholstered recently.
