This danish teak tambour door credenza was designed in the 1970’s and taps into the essence of Danish Modern with its clean lines, functional design and expert craftsmanship. We have restored this piece to like-new, near mint condition. The top and sides were professionally refinished by our in-house cabinet shop and it looks amazing.
The piece features danish teak tambour doors that roll seamlessly into the back. Ideal for use as a media cabinet so the doors don’t have to be hinged open to access the interior. A rare technique today that is not only pleasing to the eye, but also functionally ideal as it minimizes the space needed. The curved front edges are constructed in solid wood as are the tambour doors, base and legs. To add extra detail to the design, the legs and skirt are made of a darker toned teak. The contrast is creates a added depth and emphasis on the design.
