Description
Measuring in at just under 8 feet long, this beautifully restored Mid-Century Modern American-made walnut credenza features dimensions that are nearly impossible to come by. Long, low and shallow. It’s so long in fact, that the manufacturer installed a steel beam support that runs the entire undercarriage span to ensure rigidity. The exceptional length is the perfect size for your flat screen TV if you choose to use this as a media cabinet. The interior of the unit features (2) roll-out center drawers flanked by shelved cabinet spaces. Both side cabinets are tall and deep enough to store 12″ LP Vinyl Records. Doors slide easy with hand-carved, solid walnut pulls. Clearly inspired by the works of Jens Risom. The minimalist design is elevated through a thoughtful mix of contrasting grain patterns and diverse organic color tone variations in the walnut.
A mix of solid walnut, composite and walnut veneer. Attributed to Foster-McDavid and sold exclusively by Galloway’s Furniture of Tampa Florida circa 1960’s.
