Handcrafted table top clock by Girardini Design, circa 2001. The clock is dated and signed on the bottom. This artful clock is beautifully designed and crafted. The geometric design is perfectly proportioned and expertly welded. The body is made from steel while the clock face is rendered in brilliant copper. This clock has been the clock works and has a battery operated movement.
Artists Julie and Ken Girardini are the principals at Girardini design. The couple has been busy creating custom furniture and decor pieces from Maryland studio for the past 28 years. Tables, clocks, mirrors, cabinet hardware, lighting, and candle holders are among the many objects the Girardini’s have created over the decades. The Girardini’s have participated in prestigious juried art and craft shows, including the American Craft Council Shows, The Philadelphia Museum Craft Show, The Washington Craft Show, The Evanston Craft Show and the St. Louis Craft Fair, among many others. Ken has also a served as a board member of the American Craft Council.
