Description
The Grand Server was first showcased at the 1963 World’s Fair in New York City as an example of modern furniture. Manufactured by AH Stock. The funky bar / coffee table captures the spirit of the space age with it’s novel boomerang shape. One end of the cabinet features tiered shelves embellished with a gold rod. This element is reminiscent of the space age design found in automobiles of the era. Slide the table top to reveal the cabinet interior. As the table top shifts it becomes a serving area and table top for guests. The unit is coffee table height. Imagine serving drinks and playing cards, board games, video games or charades around this thing! Look inside the unit to find the liquor rack. This bottle holder ascends and descends within the cabinet. Such ingenious design! There are shelves to place your cocktail glasses and a large hidden area behind a locking door that will conceal your cocktail supplies. Key in included. The cabinet is made of durable and easy to maintain Formica. The Formica is made to look like walnut wood. Caster wheels make the unit mobile.
