Description
Iconic Mid-Century Modern Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller tandem bench. This modular system features three Eames shell chairs with red/orange colored original naugahyde pads. These unique original naugahyde pads are a orange-tinged red color, similar to carnelian. They have royal blue piping around the pads and white fiberglass backs. The person who sold them to us said that the bench came from the former Eastern Air Lines terminal in Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Eastern Airlines went out of business in 1991, these seats do have a lovely patina that comes with time and use. That provenance would explain the unique custom color-way. Each chair features the Herman Miller insignia beneath the seat. The steel bar also has a Herman Miller sticker.
64” Long x 23” Deep x 31.75” High (18” seat height)
