Description
We purchased this John Keal drum table from the original estate and can say without hesitation that you won’t find a more pristine set anywhere. The Florida waterfront home was a veritable living catalog for Brown-Saltman. Please look close at our photos when comparing your options. The cerused mahogany looks outstanding and has been masterfully and subtly restored. The key to any restoration is making improvements without making it look as though anything has been done. This piece now looks like a museum installation, but yet our price is in-step with similar offerings in lower grade conditions. We have many other pieces from the same home by Brown-Saltman. A secret surprise awaits you with this cleverly designed John Keal drum table by Brown-Saltman. The vintage 1950s table designed by John Keal features a Lazy Susan on the lower level. The aesthetics of this refinished mahogany side table are truly spectacular. Here we have an end table that is at once circular and triangular, and it spins! Pencil tapered Danish style legs give this table a quintessential Mid-Century Modern open and airy feel. Legs are finished with brass capped feet.
