Luxurious bamboo sofa by John B. Wisner for Ficks Reed. Wisner’s “Far Horizons” collection was first introduced in 1954 and remains a desirable, timeless classic. Inspired by the tropical lands of the the East, this bamboo sofa features stylish woven panels along the back rest and bamboo tied joints. The original label is present on the deck. Campaign style brass caps punctuate the pagoda style arms. The original metal spring supports are all present and in excellent condition.
This sofa has been restored with custom made, newly fabricated cushions upholstered in kiwi green fabric. The multi-colored decorative pillows are custom made and new. The throw pillows are included with purchase. New decking fabric has been added on top of the original deck to preserve and protect the springs. You’ll be the first to enjoy this like-new, vintage rattan sofa.
