This unique bamboo and rattan pagoda style side table was designed by John Wisner for Ficks Reed, circa 1950s. John Wisner graduated from Parsons School Of Design in 1935 and designed for both private clients, and corporate clients including Dorothy Draper and Ficks Reed, where he was noted for his ‘Far Horizons’ collection of 1954 which incorporated eastern elements. This classic piece of Eastern influenced modern American design boasts beautifully crafted bamboo and rattan with weaved sculptured joints. The white subway tile top is tastefully accented with applied Chinese character designs.
This piece is suited for use indoors, on covered patios or sunrooms. We do not recommend leaving this piece out in the elements.
