Description
Marcel Breuer’s “Cesca” chair is said to be the most reproduced chair design in history. This popularity is a testament to the timelessness of Breuer’s groundbreaking design. Here we have a vintage set of chairs consisting of two arms and four armless. The tubular bent chrome is the perfect complement to the tan cane and black trim. These cantilever style armchairs have far more style and detail than can be appreciated in these photos. The side chairs were made in Spain. The arm chairs were made in Canada.
The restoration: Each chair was disassembled so that the entire chrome frame could be hand polished. Each seat and back rest has been repainted. The wicker has all ben cleaned and oiled.
