Description
Breathtaking Mediterranean style Hollywood Regency dresser / credenza. Made by Thomasville Furniture Company circa 1970’s. Fly-spec finished oak wood has thick, pronounced dark grain. Reed drawer fronts feature a light cream toned finish that sets a backdrop against patinated brass pulls. Hollywood Regency and Mediterranean modern meld together beautifully in this stunning and distinct dresser. The leg columns are accented with bamboo / rattan knuckles at each drawer intersection. This piece can also be used in the living room as a credenza, or the dining room as a buffet. This distinctive look has found a serious resurgence. Similar pieces like this have found the spotlight in nearly every recent interior design publication.
This Thomasville dresser / credenza was purchased from the original owners in outstanding condition. The oak wood, rattan accents and brass pulls have only minor imperfects. The Furnish Me Vintage restoration team did however give the top a new clear coat of lacquer and detail the piece top to bottom.
