Description
Incredibly unique Mid-Century Modern corner media cabinet. This piece is a real outlier. The cabinet deviates from peers of its vintage, 1950s/1960s. It’s minimalist design and exotic hard wood construction suggests Scandinavian origins, however the piece is unmarked so we can’t be sure. One thing we can be sure of — it’s super practical and exceptionally well made. This handy cabinet can be used as s record cabinet, stereo cabinet, TV stand, or pedestal for artwork, books, and photos. These type of tropical hardwood species only come from South Asia or South America. The materials and execution are exemplary. Open the two front doors to reveal ample storage space. There is a single shelf situated toward the top of the interior. This shelf is large enough to hold a stereo receiver (28″ Wide x 14″ Deep x 72.5″ High). The cubby space beneath the interior shelf is perfect for storing records (28″ Wide x 14″ Deep x 13″ High). Folks short on space will suddenly gain real estate by turning a vacant corner into something useful. A matching credenza and vertically oriented shelving unit are available (sold separately). Buy all three pieces or any combination of three to create a complete storage and shelving system.
