This hand-hammered decorative pierced brass floor lamp exudes the Moorish / Moroccan style that is exploding on the design scene right now. Adorned top to bottom in Middle Eastern decorative reliefs depicting calligraphy and agrarian still life motifs. After numerous decades, the brass has only minor oxidation. As you can see from the photos, the brass has not dulled, and has a gold luster that will fit seamlessly with your boho-glam decor. This shade is not original, but has a modern look that compliments this exotic antique. Illuminated by two standard light fixtures with independent pull chains that work perfectly. Originally lighted by oil and converted to electric in the mid 20th century.
