Description
Handsome pair of vintage Henredon Scene Two round burl and rosewood side tables. Scene two by Henredon is one of our favorite lines of all time. We’ve never had these drum tables because they’re so hard to find. These specimens are particularly beautiful with their aged honey patina. The Rorschach test natural pattern of the book-matched olive burl wood is a sight to behold. Not only is the decorative pattern book-matched to mirror the effect, but both tops have essentially the same display. In addition to the gorgeous burl, two protruding (yet subtle) rings of dark rosewood embellishment circle the top and bottom to add another dimension of muted decadence.
A simple, modern Silhouette with a hint of Art Deco in the sleek tubular drum design. No visible hardware here. These can be used as end tables or pedestals to display art, collectibles, and lamps. A single, hinged cabinet door with click-shut mechanism will open to reveal a cleverly concealed and large open space with one removable / adjustable oak shelf in each cabinet. Finished on all sides in burled olive with solid oak interiors.
