Handsome pair of solid beech wood Mid-Century Modern armchairs made in Scandinavia. These classic, timeless armchairs have been refinished and updated with all new top grain burgundy-cognac leather upholstery and handsome button tufting. Tailored cushions, spindled backs and minimalist clean lines give these chairs a captivating silhouette from all vantages. The arms slope elegantly, enhancing comfort as they cradle the occupants arms. The angled back legs place the chair in a slightly reclined stance, relaxing the sitter.
Our skilled team invested countless hours in this restoration. Both chairs were completely disassembled, lock-pins tightened, and reassembled to ensure rock solid stature. The original dark stain on these solid beech wood frames was stripped and refinished in a lighter, amber color that we custom blended to compliment the leather. Finally, full grain leather upholstery was stitched over new foam cushions. Support straps (although original) maintain tight elasticity.
