Description
Lovely pair of vintage 1970s pencil signed, limited edition arboreal prints. Arboreal because they’re all about trees… and leaves. This listing is for two pieces of art, one price. The first piece is “Autumn” by and artist named “Kennedy.” This piece features three leaves printed to show the veins of the leaves. It certainly feels like autumn with the yellows, oranges and browns showing the procession of color and decay. Kennedy’s “Autumn” is signed, 1977 and also numbered with the edition. “Moonshine” is the larger of the two prints and features a large white moon emerging from a stand of trees. The trees are silhouetted and act as a screen to allow the moon to shine on through. This piece is signed and features the edition number in pencil. It’s likely that the original owner bought them from the same gallery, at the same time. These prints are by different artists but are framed and matted similarly. The subject, color and proportions make these an ideal pair.
