Description
Pair of vintage gold embellished porcelain Chinese lamps with elaborately adorned surfaces. The glazed lamps feature elaborate detail throughout with medallion reliefs on all sides depicting figures in gardens. Every bit of the surface is painstakingly decorated with traditional Chinese motifs including birds, flowers, and bamboo. The gold painted (not actual gold) botanical lines unify the varied elements of the design. The porcelain is decorated with blue indigo, oxblood red and gold colored glaze. The Chinese lamps are elevated on a black Mandarin base.
