Description
What a treat to find this pair of vintage female figural portraits still together. Time has a way of separating companions, but not in this case. Not only have the darling portraits remained together, they are in outstanding condition! The diptych features a disrobed woman presumably just finished bathing. The rear view painting depicts the solitary figure, in a field of green, with arms stretched as she towels. The front view shows the same woman seated, brushing her hair, in the same green field. The gold colored brass frames perfectly compliment her creamy, honey-kissed skin. Each portrait is signed by the artist, J.Z Swanson.
