Mid-Century Modern Brazilian rosewood lounge chair and ottoman by Brazilian designer Percival Lafer, 1960s. Impeccably crafted and beautifully designed, hand-tufted, pre-formed leather cushions rest on natural leather straps mounted with wooden knobs, supported by heavy solid rosewood frames. This lounge chair, complete with headrest, and ottoman is part of the designer’s MP-041 series. The original ivory leather has a subtle hint of blush that compliments the rosewood beautifully.
This chair is completely original. Rosewood frame in excellent condition. Strapping in excellent condition. Leather has age appropriate wear and small sections of scuffed color loss. All tufting is in tact. Leather has been cleaned and conditioned. Dime size repair to leather (see pic)
