Completely restored Stanley Jay Friedman Caesar Armchair. The black lacquer postmodern Z lounge chair was designed by Friedman for Bonaventure Ind, of Montreal. Interestingly enough, the collection also featured barstools in similar form. The Canadian designed chair has a masterpiece of postmodern aesthetic. This chair has undergone a total restoration with professionally painted glossy black lacquer wood frame and new authentic leather upholstery. The upholstery is new and meant to have a rustic look with variations of dark and medium brown tones and a “crackled” texture. The leather has a sheen to it that compliments the gloss of the black frame. The Minimalist form of this z lounge chair cuts a stunning profile and delights from all angles. The striking black frame is accented by three chromed tubular steel bars that add structural support. This chair is a true triumph of form, function and beauty.
