Description
Vintage Preben Fabricius & Jørgen Kastholm multi-tiered copper color Danish pendant light. The fixture is intended to dangle from the ceiling. The copper colored metal shade is original. The electric components (light fixture and cord) are all new. The fresh white electrical cord is terminated with a standard type A plug head. Choose to plug the light in, or modify it to hardwire to a switch. Made by Nordisk Solar in Denmark. Jorgen Kastholm is a celebrated Danish designer known for his furniture, lighting and architecture. Kastholm attended the School for Interior Design in Copenhagen where he studied under Finn Juhl. Some of his most iconic creations are the The Tulip Chair FK 6725, and the Grasshopper Chair FK 87. Kastholm later went on to teach at Bergische Universität in Wuppertal in Germany from 1975 to 1996.
