Description
This English Regency style pecan writing desk by Thomasville would be perfect in any room. Desk, console, or entryway table to name a few. The stain / tone appears to be in the family of “special walnut”. This honeyed olive tone is both subtle and tastefully suited to the form. The look and color also intermingle nicely with a wide range of other interior styles.
The carved, lyre shaped leg supports are the most distinctive feature on this lovingly restored desk. Two brass spanners arch upwards from the legs to add both accent and stability. Finished on all sides, this piece looks stunning from every angle. The heavily grained, inlay pecan wood is a perfect compliment to the patinated brass drawer pulls.
The top has been professionally refinished by our in-house cabinet shop. The entire piece has otherwise been detailed top to bottom and only very minor imperfections remain.
