Large Mid Century Modern vintage 1950s walnut executive desk. This is an industrial style. One might have found this desk in a bank, school or insurance office during the 1950s. Tremendously well built, designed to last. Top surface has been professionally sanded and finished with tung oil. Layers of lacquer, and decades of grime were removed to reveal the natural beauty of the wood. No particle board — this is all American made from American wood. Solid walnut drawer pulls capped with metal embellishments at the ends. Very practical with lots of storage. Three large drawers on the left, one wide drawer over the center. Top left drawer has diagonally oriented paper dividers, super unique! Right side of the unit holds a typewriter table that can be pulled out at low height or lifted up to table height. A remarkable, high quality piece for your workspace.
