Mid century modern triple dresser from Bassett’s “Mayan” collection. This theme capitalizes on the jet age of the mid 20th Century. As American’s took to the skies they developed an interest in exotic cultures. A fascination for Far east, South American, and Caribbean culture set off a trend for pieces such as these. The Mayan carvings on the solid wood handles of the dresser are remarkable in person. No particle board. Walnut veneer over solid wood. Plenty of storage with nine drawers total. Center doors open to reveal three drawers. Matching nightstands and pair of three drawer chests available (sold separately).
