Vintage 1970s curved Mid-Century Modern crescent shaped sofa. The sofa boasts it’s original fuzzy beige and brown upholstery. Around here we call it the “Teddy Bear Sofa.” No worry for comfort with the plush pillows and fabric. Plenty of room for guests with each of the two sections measuring 66″ wide. The Milo Baughman style halfmoon sofa has a flat plinth base made of walnut colored wood. This flat base is signature of the 1970s, often seen on Baughman’s work for Thayer Coggin. The Teddy Bear sofa is made by Carson’s with label present beneath the seat cushion. The sofa is two-pieces. Push the two sections together to present as one long, curved couch. Enjoy the added flexibility of separating the two segments. Place the sofas across from one another, perpendicular, kitty corner, or whatever your heart desires. You can even use each piece in separate areas entirely.
