Exceptional burl wood expanding dining table by Henredon. The Parsons table is 36 3/8 square when compact, and converts to a rectangle when lengthened.Insert the 20.25″ wide leaf to extend the table to a maximum of 56 5/8″ long. Our restoration team has beautifully restored the table top with marvelous results. Gazing up the table top is an optical delight. The burled ash wood has a hypnotic grain pattern. There are swirling lines, peaked cathedrals, and radiating patterns as vast as a starry sky. This table is special for many reasons. The quality of the wood, the atypical dimensions, and the unique carved pattern along the edges. Parsons tables are typically minimalist by nature. We’ve never seen a Post Modern Parsons Table with such detailed carving along the perimeter. This table stands out from the crowd with it’s elevated styling and materials. A truly special find.
