Description
This exquisite walnut dresser / credenza is as beautiful and rare as it is bizarre. Made in the 1960s by Daniel Jones Inc. of New York. We’ve never seen a line with such exceptional detail and eclectic design elements. Made from a mix of solid walnut, walnut and burl veneer. Burled maple embellishment aren’t just limited to the drawer pulls and cabinet doors. All four legs have a band of burl that wraps the diameter towards the top. The cabinet section juts out at an angle to add functional depth and geometric design to this already fascinating case. Hinged cabinet doors with circular burl embellishments open to reveal three roll-out drawers on metal glides.
This walnut dresser has been restored by our in-house cabinet shop. Case top and drawer fronts have been refinished. Detailed top to bottom, inside and out. Only minor imperfections remain.
