Rare solid teak corner cabinet by Nathan Furniture, made in Great Britain. We don’t often see modern teak furniture from the U.K., so items like this are a special treat. This is one practical and elegant little hutch. The craftsmanship is exquisite and the original owner treated this piece like a jewel. It is in time capsule quality with very few imperfections. The upper portion is versatile with open adjustable shelving and a light at the very top. The lower portion features a spacious cabinet concealed by handsome cabinet doors. Especially darling are the cabinet doors embellished with a checked trim. This unit is also ideal as a dry bar.
The Restoration: Cleaned, detailed and oiled top to bottom. The lower shelf was refinished to remove a small, dark water stain. Light socket functions perfectly and the cord and plug are in excellent condition.
