Description
Bassett Aztec nightstand, vintage 1960s. The American made nightstand features two drawers with distinctive Aztec inspired pulls. The nightstand is distinguished by it’s ornately carved solid wood handles. This iconic nightstand was designed by Leo Jiranek for Bassett and produced between 1963-1967. The Central American inspired design captured the “exotica” zeitgeist of the 1960s. Often mis-labeled “Bassett Mayan” … the “Aztec” collection was advertised as having a “Mayan walnut finish.” Complete your bedroom with the matching highboy dresser and highboy (sold separately).
24″ Wide x 16″ Deep x 24″ High
