Description
Mid Century Modern Danish teak dining table by Ib Kofod Larsen for Faarup Møbelfabrik. One of the finest Scandinavian producers of the era. This dynamic table offers three size options. Short on space? Use the table at its most compact size, a 47″ diameter circle. Add one of the two leaves to expand the table to 66 5/8 inches long. If you’re planning on a dinner party, use both leaves at 86″ total length. A clever fifth leg drops down from its stow away position once the table is expanded. This ingenious feature provides added support at center as the table lengthens. Stylish solid teak wedges line the perimeter of the table. The myriad of sizes allows this heirloom quality table to adapt to each occasion and grow with you throughout life. This table is unmarked, attributed to Ib Kofod Larsen for Faarup Møbelfabrik.
We have a few sets of Danish teak dining chairs that would pair nicely with this table. The dining chairs are sold separately. A long, exceptionally designed teak credenza is also available, sold separate. Inquire if interested in seeing the chair and credenza options.
