Description
Although not marked by the maker, these exceptional, vintage (late 1970s / early 1980s) solid teak armchairs have a distinctive Danish modern design but may actually be Canadian. The chairs feature 3-panels of woven reed cane that cover the sides and backs. The panels integrate exquisitely with the sculpted, carved, solid teak frames. The blade style arms slope up to create a seamless contour. The backside curls back towards the top, elevating this lounge chair amongst its peers. Our team chose a toasted nutmeg (light cognac) leather with black buttons to perfectly compliment the frame. We also went with a darker, distressed style leather for the seat bottom and back that allow you to reverse the cushions for added character. The overall look is classic Scandinavian Modern with a stately Balinese twist.
Measures: 32” Wide x 31.5” Deep x 33” High (16.5” seat height)
We have a sofa that is the same model as these chairs. The sofa has been restored but they are in a different color leather than the chairs. Please contact us if you are interested in seeing the matching couch.
